Aquamation, sometimes called “flameless cremation”, is water-based cremation using a process called alkaline hydrolysis. This still results in the body being reduced to “ashes” but in an eco-friendly manner. We partner with Heartland Pet Aquamation to offer these services.

How we memorialize our treasures companions who have passed on is a deeply personal decision. We offer a variety of options to help simplify the process and ensure you are able to celebrate the unique life of your beloved friend.
Traditional Cremation
Cremation is the use of heat on remains to expedite the breakdown process. This results in the body being reduced to cremains, also known as “ashes”. We partner with Trusted Journey (formerly Rolling Acres Crematorium) to facilitate this option.
Private Cremation ($295)- this option allows the ashes of your pet to be returned to you in a preselected urn of your choosing, which is included in the cost. We will work with the crematorium to transport your pet and set up your arrangements. When ready, the ashes can be delivered to your regular veterinary office or the crematorium will call you to schedule a convenient time for pickup.
Communal Cremation ($125)- with this option, you will not receive the ashes of your pet back. However, the crematorium does spread the ashes in their memorial garden which is open to the public and is located at 12200 NW Crooked Rd, Kansas City, MO. We will work with the crematorium to transport your pet and set up your arrangements.
