By choosing an in-home euthanasia, we have flexibility in where we set up so you and your pet can be most comfortable. You do not need to make any special arrangements before hand and the visit can take place wherever you and your pet are most comfortable including a bed, couch, or even outside, if the weather allows.

Absolutely! Feel free to make the time leading up to our appointment as memorable as possible including special meals or snacks, car rides or other fun activities, and lots of pictures/ videos together. Just be mindful of your pet’s medical needs and limitations.

Dr. Megan Hodge sees every patient who schedules with Sunset Days. In order to provide a low stress experience, she typically does not have any other staff in attendance with her.

No, our pricing structure is a “flat-rate” regardless of size in order to remove the stress of weighing your pet or risking extra fees later. If you elect to have us handle the after care of your pet, we will ask that someone be available at the end of the visit to help move your pet into the vehicle for transportation using a special stretcher we will bring to the visit (complete with cozy blankets and pillows).
-
During our visit, we will discuss safe handling and burial of your pet after they have been euthanized. We will also leave you with a written handout for reference later, which can also be accessed here.
